2025 Holiday Programme

Our Programme has 4 camps throughout the year, in each of the school holidays. Our programme is open to all Beginners, Under 12, Under 14 and sometimes U16. In each camp, run by our Waitakere coaches. Email Liam, admin@waitakwaterpolo.co.nz, if you have any questions. Spaces are strictly limited, and these camps always sell out, so get in quick!

January Camp: Mon Jan 13th to Fri Jan 17th (Cancelled due to lack of players and coaches)
April Camp: Mon Apr 14th to Thur Apr 17th*
July Camp: Mon Jun 30 to Fri Jul 4th*
September Camp: Wed Sep 24th to Fri Sep 26th*

FAQs

How will the day be structured?
A week out, we will email you through a detailed timetable. There are typically two pool sessions and two out-of-pool sessions each day, plus time for stretching/warm-up and lunch.

What does my child need to bring?
Their togs, at least two towels, a drink bottle, a good attitude and plenty of food!

Can non-Waitakere members attend?
Absolutely! Players from any club or school are welcome to attend. Camps like these are great opportunities for making friends from different schools and clubs.

What will be covered in out-of-pool sessions?
Our programme includes engaging workshops when players aren’t in the pool. Dryland sessions may include nutrition, rules, stretching/game preparation, goal setting, table duty, finding balance and team building. Plus, there will be time for rest, lunch and some fun games.
